Cabin for rent

You might have seen the handler's cabin in one of the newsletters. This cabin is for rent during the summer months (April until September). The cabin is not far from our house and the dogs (they are quiet at night, believe it!) but in the middle of the bush, so there is plenty of privacy.

The cabin invites you to relax and enjoy the many possibilities in our area. Here a few ideas:
- Hike up to Mud Lake (who came up with this name - it's crystal clear and nice to swim in!)
- Canoe down the Yukon to Policemen's Point from Whitehorse (8 hours) or Takhini River (4 hours)

- Take the canoe across the Lake and hike on my training trails over there. You will have the same views as on the images on this site, just without snow.
- Explore Whitehorse, we are only 25 minutes from downtown!

Details: log cabin (square timbers with dovetail notches), built in 2004, 14 x 21 feet, loft (4 foot high) with Queen bed, main room with hide-a bed, sleeps 4 (or more in sleeping bags), kitchen counter with sink, kitchen table and chairs, cupboards and cutlery, pots and pans, 3 burner propane stove top and propane lights, Yukon fridge (hole in ground), wood stove, Yukon books, a nice clean outhouse Cabin 3 Outhouse detail.jpg (13256 bytes)
Rates:

Cabin only (no meals included)

Can $ 180 / 3 nights/2 people, add $ 50 for each additional person

Can $ 420 / 7 nights/2 people, add $ 120 for each additional person

Can $ 60 /add. night/2 people, add $ 25 for each additional person

min 3 nights, min 2 Persons per Cabin

Including: Use of canoe, meet the musher and the dogs, possibility to go on training runs in late August and September, cabin rental

Transfer from/to Whitehorse can be provided at $35 one way.
